Concept art done as part of illustration course in my third year studying in Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem.
Luce Serafini is a historian-botanist studying the Voynich manuscript. Her theory is that whoever wrote and illustrated the famous 15-century undecipherable book just forgot to wear their glasses when they did so, and so she’s visiting Kew Gardens to try to identify plants from the book by taking her glasses off. Naturally the whole family tagged along. Her nephews are trying to help, but the rest... not so much.
